Nothing's more creepy than some old photo that has something strange or mysterious going on. For that matter, really any antique photo can give me the jitters under the right conditions.

I picture Ricky speaking in a raspy whisper much like Danny in The Shining talking with his finger. If I woke up in the middle of the night to the sight of Ricky hovering over me chanting "REDRUM", I would probably soil myself before spontaneously combusting from fear.(more creepy album covers here)

You're right about John Amos. And I always wondered why he'd settle for someone like Florida. Maybe he was a chubby chaser.

ReplyDeleteI am totally with you on the cover of Jet magazine. She looks more like Linda Blair from The Exorcist than the nice witch we know from bewitched. That picture is both confusing and frightening.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you on John Amos/James Evans. Remember when Thelma and JJ would talk about his whippings of them, and they would both hold their bums? He scared the shit out of me as a kid.
